whats up guys. i have 0 gauge run for my stereo and am trying to do "the big 3" which consists of upgrading your battery + to alternator +, battery ground to chassis ground and engine ground to battery ground with heavier gauge wire.

does anyone know how i would go about grounding the engine to the battery ground? i have already done the other 2 wires. thanks

ill have to check it out tommorrow in the day light, i wasnt having much luck with my flashlight:rolleyes:

i guess i could just mount it anywhere on the block?

lol, that makes this much easier then i thought. thanks for the replies everyone.

 You guys are terriable!!!!

Since I am not running a massive setup I did a simple setup after I broke the factory ground strap. I ran a 4awg ground from the timing cover to the passenger side wheel well. Since the alt is bolted to the timing cover I figured it would offer the path of least resistance. Then I have a 4awg running from the driver side motor mount (on the block)to the battery terminal. Then I have another 4awg wire running to th rad support from the battery. Seems to work well for me but I only have a JL Audio 500/5.
