They finally came in yesterday. There was a storm or something so shipping was delayed. They got here pretty fast once they shipped though.

I been cutting the fog lights up to try and fit them in. So far I have only done one. I'm trying to figure out a way to secure the projector in the fog. I will probably stick 2 small screws in there, barely in, just to make sure it doesn't move. It wont come out, it's a snug fit. I basicaly got rid of the whole reflector. I still have to start the second fog but now I know how much to cut so I can get straight to it. I still have to figure out all the wiring and how to make the bi-xenon fuctional, but that will be another day.And yeah I know my fog light housing is a little jacked up around the edges, I broke some pieces off when I took them apart to paint, but they sealed good and you can't see it once they have the lens back on and are installed.

Dang this is going to be pretty cool. I am interested in more photos.

Also the clear cover goes back on without hitting the the glass cover?

Also random, but what ethnicity are you?

Yeah, clear cover goes on without hitting the projector. Thats what I spent 2 hours trying to get right. I didn't want to over do it and then have a hole too big so I took my time. I am now done cutting up the for light bracket for it to clear the projector sticking out in the back.I broke one of the pieces on the side of the bracket that holds the fog in place so I spent a good amount of time trying to come up with a way to get it to hold in place. I got it. Will get more pictures tom.Hey andrizzle I'll have my angels eyes soon too.......in the fogs though, you can see the ring on the pictures. After this mod, angel eyes are next.

That is a random one. Why, is it cause of my hands? lol. I am mexican, and no I dont sell drugs or do them. Not my thing. Just in case anyone gets the impression. :bash: :D

Great...more fuel for Lincoln Jealous's ethnic bashing...lol

Ahh, the retro solutions projectors.

I'm interested to see how this turns out. I have a set of bi-xenons sitting in the back seat of my Mazda that I am not quite sure what to do with.

Sell it. Mazda's suck. :p

j/k.

Interested to see how this turns out as well. If it has a sharp cutoff, then they are WAY better than the glaring "bulb into a halogen reflector housing" kit most have.

That is an interesting project, I will be curious how the focus of the light will turn out.

LOL.

It's a fun car, when it cooperates. Something about factory turbo sedans just gives me a big stiffy, especially when there is a bigger turbo attached to them.

But, I am going to sell it and get a new project car. I want a 92-95 929 on bags with an LS1.

Yea, lol. I knew u were a mexican!

lol jk. Hurry up and get these bad boys in mayne

Lookin good so far.
BTW, you can liquid nail those in, it will keep them in more secure than screws will.

I will be using that but to seal it. I wanted something that could be taken off easily if I ever need to get back in there, so I went with screws. The projector is held down real good now. I put 2 small screws in there. The projector isn't in some plastic casing, its some really light metal. The fog's plastic is pretty sturdy and thick, its not going anywhere now.The screws only go in the projector casing about 1 cm so it wont get in the way of the light or anything.

Guess I'm not working today so I can tackle the other fog now.

I am white. I asked because of your hands yea. I always wonder what some of the members here look like, lol.

on other forums I am on, they have threads like post up your photo....it wouldnt last 3 pages here before it would be full of demov posters and gay comments.

they have one in the anything goes section, but not many LS guys go over there.

I get it now. I just read sweets thread where LJ posted and was getting into ethnicity.

and I am off-white...for the record...:shifty:

Maybe its all that snow? Evolution is trying to make you blend in, camouflage, trying to escape your predators :D

If I were any less black, I would be clear.

I'm the darkest in my family. I look like I'm adopted cause they all have light skin and I'm dark, it's like I'm the ugly duckling.lol. I've always been in the sun and doing sports so I'm darker. My stomach and places that are covered aren't dark at all. I'm just roasted and cooked by the sun.

Now back to the projectors.

I finished wiring one of them and it is on the car now. I couldn't get it to work at first, but I remembered from looking up at older HID threads today, that some people had to flip the wires/polarity to make it work. Mine was the same way. It only took me about 15 min to realize but it worked after I fliped the connector. The angel eyes are wired to the parking lights, the low beam position to the fog light wires. I am thinking of wiring the Hi beam position wires to the headlight's high beam wires to make it a functional Bi-xenon. I dont really want to run an extra switch to drop the shield on the projector so I think that will be my best option, unless someone has a good idea. I tested the angel eyes when I was done and they were very dim and only half of it was on, I got scared. It was just my battery though, it's been bad for a few months and only getting worse and I drained it with my tests. I attached my little jump starter battery and turn the angel eyes on. They were bright again and lit the whole ring this time. Took a quick pic of it, its late.I didn't test the light output on it tonight because of the time it is, but I'll do tests and more pictures tom. There is also a shield on the projector that doesn't move. I think it cuts off the light towards the ground, shining in a rectangular shape instead of half a circle. I might try and take one of on one and live it on the other to see the difference. Well here are some pics. I think it look pretty good.

Good job with the install. They look great. And yes, we need to see some more pics.

BTW, what is that yellow ball against the windshield (second pic down). Is it a parking stop? Creative...

Interesting.

More pics!

Also dam your headlights are really clean

Yeah, the guy I bought them from didn't use them mch and then took them off to sell his car. I accidently scratched the driver side with some pliers last night. :Bang. I was so mad.!!!!!!!!!!! So perfectly clena and falwless and I scratch them! Its about a 2.5 inch line down the center of it. My flashlight slipped and I had the pliers on the hand I tried catching it with so it wouldn't hit my car, but slashed my headlight with them!!! The really clean lights clean up my car a lot. My friends keep thinking that I painted the surround black or something because they look so clean now.

Yeah parking stop, my work bench is up in front so I want to leave enough room to be able to walk through and clear the garage door. I also have a cinder block on the left tire as my for sure stop. I parked the car about 5 inches from the garage door with it closed and placed the block under the tire as a mark. A get in and get out so fast now without worrying if i'll clear the door.

More Pics up tonight I hope, I want to test them out at night already :D
