So twice in the last 7 days the LS hasn't started in the morning due to 0 to below 0 weather. Today it's sitting at work dead. The accessories all come on it just doesn't turn over. The battery is 3 years old.
Here's the question to the battery heated blankets actually work or is it a waste of money? The idea seems simple. Keep the battery warm, so it starts. Just for reference here's a picture of a battery blanket http://jeeppartspeople.com/searchpr...332544742&year=09&productdesc=Battery+Blanket. I don't have an issue spending the $120 for a new OEM battery, since it's needed, but I'd like to try something else that might work first.

PS it starts with a battery box when it warms up outside if that helps.

I have a heater on my truck that I've never used.. It always starts (she's getting slower nowadays).. I would get the battery tested to see if it's bad..
