I am confused... Which ones are the 'winter setup'?

The first photos look like those wheels are brand new?

I eat a lot of carrots.

Those are nice wheels though.
Lol...thank you.

I like the winter setup better...
I may share that sentiment...

got to say i might like the winter look a little better.....
I'm starting to feel that way...

The tucana's are the winter wheels lol They're wrapped in Blizzak snow tires. And they're used, but they're in such good shape that even the tire shop thought they were new.

I just put a pic of the Zeus up because they will be gone soon.

Oh okay, yea so that seems like the opposite, lol.

I would be trying to save those Tucanas for summer, not the black ones.

Edit

Took the pic out to eliminate confusion...

I need the $$$ so Zeus need to go. And they're not black! lol they're just a really dark graphite?

and i don't forsee doing much winter driving so ill take good care of the Tucana's until summer.

Nominate you for LVC's wheel whore title... :shifty:

And I like this setup better then the "summer" setup you have, personally!
Nice car bro

I like those wheels. This is a better look. Changes the whole cars appearance. That looks very good!

Man those are nice. Keep these for summer and use the Zeus for winter.

18's? Wheel specs please cause I'm to lazy to google right now

Thanks man. Completely agree that it totally changes the look, i personally thought my LS looked "classy" with these wheels (hence the title) vs the more sporty/aggresive look of the Zeus wheels.

I don't really have a choice at this point. Need to sell the Zeus. And slowly leaning towards keeping the tucanas for the summer as well. I'm gonna take good care of them and put on some good summer rubber in the spring.

WHEEL SPECS:
18x8 all around

Bull, you might actually be able to help me with this since you've done it yourself. I've been looking around for some quality spacers, maybe 5mm or 8mm, but can't seem to find them. Only come up with universal crap. How were you able to source yours? H&R seems to have some good ones, hub/wheel centric, but I can't find them in our bolt pattern.

H&R does make some wheel and hub centric spacers. The one's I have had (2 pairs) are from MotorsportsTech/Adaptec Speedware which are all custom CNC'd for you. They could do you a traditional spacer, but I'm not 100% sure on an adapter style spacer if it's only 5-8mm. Depending on your tire size and how aggressive you want to go you could do more then 8mm on a spacer. I'm at 38ET and I don't have any rubbing on my RR's. My 5 spokes were down to 35ET as well

If you need to know anything else or specifics PM me if you want

Oh wow, the only reason i wanted 5-8mm was because i thought we couldn't go below 40ET without rubbing. Would they be able to help me with determining what size would be biggest i could go with?

thanks for the info

The whole 40et limit is a myth created by members who are afraid of doing something that hasn't been done before. I have even seen people say you can't go under 42et as well.

I wouldn't go lower then 35et though. That was up against the limit this car would be able to handle on non rolled fenders.

As far as them being able to help you I wouldn't think they could. A big variable on the limit you can handle is the tire size/width

Those look really good. In a couple months when you get sick of them post them up on here for sale.

Now that you mention it I do kind of see it. If the rims had a lip def would look like a 540i

Yup if you add the sidemarker and the lip its bascially an american 540i clone.

I like chrome but i would love those on my car....reminds me of this car:

This is one of my fav beamers.

i like both looks. this look would be my 'take my wife out to an expensive restaurant' look. the other would be my everyday look
