Apologies if I missed anything in the search function, I've tried that and google to no avail...
Alright, we all know the LS is one the DEW98 platform and the first gen XF is based upon it but with some differences, one of them being a wider track width.
My first question though, will the oil pan/differential combo from the XF even fit between the LS rails and clear the cradle? If it does, what about using the XF knuckles? I know they're (along with the control arms) are different part numbers than the LS units but will they interchange or will I run into massive geometry issues.
If all of that clears, are there even rear gearsets available for the LS, specifically to match the XF awd final drive ratio?
Yes, I know, there will be electrical headaches (to put it nicely) to overcome as well, but first I want to see about mechanical feasibility
