Hello, does anybody know what the OEM Numbers for a 1995 Lincoln Mark VIII (8)
Automatic Temperature Control Unit – I`m looking at some on Ebay and some are not specific.

I see many for a 1995 – 1996 and some 1995 – 1998 – Would like the correct item number prior to ordering – I would think the Gen 1 Models should be interchangeable, I`m not certain

Have had a 1995 Temperature Control unit in my 1994 Mark VIII for many years so as to get away from the Plastic slide in tabs that don`t hold up and slide out or cave in on the 1993 and 1994 models

I cannot locate the part number(s) but the '96 EATC unit is preferred.

All '93-'96 EATC units will interchange. The '97-'98 EATC units are not compatible with the '93-'96 models.

'94-'94 have the weak front buttons while the '95 was similar but improved. The '96 used more solid oval buttons.

'96 EATC is already using an electronics simular to '97-'98 and will not work with 1993-1995 cars (can be prooved simply looking service manual from Ford).

Don't tell my '93 that, it's had the '96 EATC functioning in it for close to 2 decades.

93-94 - soft buttons, poor design
95 - hard buttons, better design
96 - new designed buttons (again!), button design same as 97-98
97-98 - new design, not compartible with the other years
