Hey guys,
I did a search but was unable to come up with any information... I always leave my auto lamp feature on and the master headlight switch in the off position. This morning the auto lamp will not turn on the headlights, even though it was pitch black out. The headlights work fine if I turn them on from the master. Wondering if the ambient light sensor is not working. Anyone have any experience with this? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Never heard of them going out, I would say start paging through the manual or find the relay and swap it with a working one.

i've got the same problem, but it doesn't really bother me so i haven't messed with it.

Same with me. Someone would have to beat me with an axe handle before I used that feature.... DAN!! Seriously though, you too need to check into upgrading your headlight switch because on the 94 I had, the harness that it connects to was warped and melted and when I did get the upgraded switch, it took me a little while to get it to plug into the melted harness.

Not saying that's what your problem is but it's something to look into. I would think the switch or eye is going bad or has already. Seems like and don't quote me on this but I think the upgraded switches have green dots on the front of them.
