I just had my asham8 installed and I have to say it's awesome I can slam park it like a ray switch, drive lower like sensor dropped and I dont have to worry about speed bumps or rubbing because I can just raise the car it's cool to be cruising down the highway hit a dip and rub then just pull over raise the car up and no more rubbing.

B.B. the creator is awesome one of the boards was not working right and B.B. sent me a brand new board from Budapest for no charge the asham8 costs $200 shipped but for me it's well worth it http://members.chello.hu/breda.belarobert/asham8/

just a note be careful raising the car up too much you could cause a leak in the bags in these pics the car is not all the way up

remember that post of the guy who wanted to raise the car up to look cool?

The car looks so much better lowered the asham8 also has controls to raise the front and back I have not messed with those yet i'm gonna lower front and raise rear for a better rake

now I just need to get a spider valve because I park it dropped and if for some reason it stops working im screwed but i heard you can fill the bags via the spider, the site says it's sold out tho

if it stops working for whatever reason you can just switch the jumpers on the small board to bypass the module all together and return to stock.

here's mine

Im not sure if I read it right, but you said you pull over to raise it up in the highway?

You should be able to raise and lower at anytime and it will adjust even if you sustain highway speed. Pulling over will trip it to raise right away since your dropping below 45mph or so. But on the highway it will adjust and checks every 45 seconds.

oh I thought I had read that the car had to be going under 15mph for the asham8 to raise and lower, I don't see it in the manual so I must have read it with something else i'll give it a shot tomorrow thanks

Works Great

I Installed mine about 3 Months ago.....Absolutley love it, I always leave it Low until I drive on the Hi-way then I go Stock

PIMPLINC- totally love the skull where the trunk lock used to be. but quick question, lets just say that you can not open the trunk from the inside and or from the remote. how are you going to open the trunk?

PIMPLINC- totally love the skull where the trunk lock used to be. but quick question, lets just say that you can not open the trunk from the inside and or from the remote. how are you going to open the trunk?

THANKS

I thought about that too, I guess I would have to rip it off & use the key, I should buy the entire trunk reflector/light setup just incase.....The Lock is still there, I just Drilled the backing plate where the Lincolon emblem was.

it's $200, sensor lowering is free the advantage of asham8 is being able to return it to stock with a push of a button

Sounds cool. I want one, but I need to the money for a new suspension.

hmmm didnt know about this one

I've got the module8 and i'm not happy with it. So I have a few questions

How long did it take to get it. once order and shipped how long was it until it was in your hands?

do you have to do the "key on, open door, close door, key acc" dance or just is push and go?

I see that the module fits in the ashtray of the gen1 is it the same for the gen2? if not where do you put it?

it sometimes takes awhile just contact him and usually he will build one then put it on ebay buyitnow and give you a link the shipping takes awhile becuase it come from budapest.

you do not have to open/close door or turn off engine you just push it to go up or down, the module8 looks pretty cheesy if I did not have the asham8 I would just sensor lower it and get a $40 "ray switch" to slam the car in park possition

not sure if it fits gen 2 ashtray but I saw somebody just kept it the glove box which is a good idea because its hard to reach the dials on the bottom to raise the rear independent from the front

I have the Asham8 in the '93.

It was not without problems, but I caused the problems during installation. He was very, very helpful in diagnosis via email and then getting me a replacement module in a timely fashion.

I am satisfied and happy with the product. The features for the price are worth it IMHO. I raise and lower the car at will with it all the time.

My only complaint is it is a PITA to install - but mainly because of having gorrilla hands with the small wiring components and being as flexible as a brick when it came to accessing the suspension computer up under the dash on the passenger side kick panel. :p

ok i NEED one i know this is an old thread but...my air ride went hay-wire! the drivers front went all the way down and the pass. rear went sky-high. the drivers front will air up a lil bit then stay there till i turn the key off and on again. So i was wanting to know where i can buy this product. I did some searching and came up with this thread...any help would be MORE than GREATLY APPRECIATED! sometimes i wonder....why does my car hate me? stinkin lincoln air ride!

This wont help, you need to fix your air-ride first. Try starting a new thread though, will get more attention to resolve your problem.

well i know it wont help my problem, what i want to do is air it out and then get it to factory hight and put this on and drop it where i please...so if anyone knows where i can get one of these at i would appreciate it. thanks

IT WONT HELP YOU :D If your system errors out, this will too! Its not an override.

Fix your sensors and get the car to level. If you cant get it to do that, this will not work either.

Isaiah3g:

What I believe you have is a bad air spring on the drivers side. This situation must be corrected (air spring relaced) before you proceed with the mod for it to operate properly.
To verify the bad spring turn ignition and fill bag then open trunk and turn off suspension switch. Leave it off for a couple of days or what ever and see if nose falls. If it does then it's time to get hold of American Air Suspension and order new Air springs (usually replace pair), as well as a Spider valve to make your air ride last longer by removing all the moisture in it as well as venting external to the compressor.
Once you got that all done and your suspension performing back to normal then you should be ready for the mod discussed. Hope this helps you.

alrighty the car hasnt moved since friday evening i cut the air switch off and checked between the top of the tires and the fender well...nothing has changed...im a bit confused. i think thursday im going to pull it back into our shop and get it sittin right. let it sit for a few days with th switch off,and see if it leaks then i know i need bags. if it doesnt then ill get the asham8. just my thoughts. thanks for the input guys

so i guess this uy doesnt sell the asham8 any more? i cant find it anywhere!
