are the front and back brake pads different sizes?

I just got my rotors and pads in from R1 concepts, and the pads are different sizes...is this correct?

Not only are they different sizes, they are also different shapes.

Yeah, stock pads have different metal backing plates, least on my 2004.

I have never seen a car with the same pads all around, but then I am only a hobby mechanic.

hey aviation i got the same rotors. don't go with the semi metallic tho cuz those squeal like there's no tomorrow

the fronts are dual piston calipers while the backs are single piston...

just by looking at them you can tell the front are much bigger calipers.
