I was wondering if this is the suspension control module and could it have gone bad which is why I am not venting off. Arnott has givern me a RMA number to pull my compressor and send it in to get it fixed or replaced, but I will be down for almost two weeks I suspect. Anyone?

the vcrm has nothing to do with the air ride. it isnt venting for a few reasons, you have to figure out why, most coomon reason is a seized vent solenoid on the compressor, air ride module is bad, or the solenoids on the struts or bags are seized. 9 times out of 10 the compressor needs to be replaced and the car will vent fine.

Jaime, I see you are with Arnott who I got my compressor from last Aug 27th.Lisa gave me an RMA Thursday. Why can't your company send me a new one pending my returning of the year old one? I will gladly give my credit card number as a guarantee I will send the old one back in. I think it is totally unfair to expect me to dismantle the car, send compressor in for repair or replacement and then wait another week until I get the repaired one or a new one in exchange. My car will be out of commission at least two weeks if not longer this way. Can you help any with getting me a replacement comp. now? My first post was 9/8 about a week after I noticed it was not venting off. I kept hoping it was a stuck door switch. My shocKs / airbags I got from your company also about two years ago are holding just fine even though they are stuck in full high with air suspension turned off. So it is not like they have been leaking and causing the comp. to run too much. Besides I lost my job back in April, (one of the over 650,000 now unemployed) so I only run my car a couple of times a week, like 3 miles to the grocery store. I really need help Jaime on getting this fixed sooner.:(

First off, Arnott isn't Jamie's company.. you have already been in contact w/Arnott.. if you have a problem with Arnotts return policy.. you need to do some reasearch BEFORE the purchase..There is alot more to a "transaction" than just the "low price".. now you know WHY you got the low price...because their "service after the sale SUCKS".

Sounds like you are speaking from experience?
I knew Jaime didn't own Arnott's, I was hoping because he was an employee of theirs and a member here, he could help. One never knows if they don't ask.:)

Jamie is a Mark VIII used parts guy. He has nothing whatsoever to do with Arnott.

yea Jamie is not employeed by Arnott.. I think the original poster is "confused"

you dont drive almost a half a million miles in a particular type of vehicle without "figuring out some stuff"..so yea.. I have a LITTLE experience dealing with these cars and the people that "sell parts" for these cars.

There are only two items I would ever get from Arnott. Rear air bags and bag solenoids. Thats it, period. They have a very bad reputation. Any search here brings that up. Not based on "just hating", based on people returning parts that fail quickly or getting stuck with leaky bags just out of warranty.

where the heck did you get the idea i work for arnott ???? i dont and never did work for them, i am just another member on this forum like yourself lol!

I apologize for my mistake Jamie. I thought I saw the address in your post as the same as Arnotts, so I drew the conclusion you worked there. So sorry.

Same stuff.

Two places to get a compressor, period. OEM Ford which is $$ or Eddie at americanairsuspension.com

Only two choices if you want something that is made right. Eddie does reman, so they are cheaper but he VERY much stands behind his work and is very quick on shipping should a problem ever arise.

suncore has worse product than arnott, i'd rather buy a compressor from a flood car before i'd buy one from arnott or suncrap. for the price and customer service how could you not want to buy from Eddie.

Eddie has it at $155 plus shipping the whole thing. I assume Ford even thru Max will be more than $40 to $50 higher.

. all i do is part out mark VIII's, i have some clean low mile used ford compressors if you want one cheaper, but i'm not forcing it on you.

Jaime, give me a price on a low mileage one that for sure works please. Does it come with a new dryer or do I need to get that separate?
zip is to Texas at 78130.

Um... USED parts. Jamie sells lots of used parts, but even he recommends Eddie for something like this. No offense Jamie!

the dryer is used just like the compressor, like unity just said and myself i preffer eddie, i'll sell used ones to people who cannot afford new, but i'll let you know right now all my high mile compressors and compressors with something wrong all go to eddie anyway, he helps me, i help him, one hand washes the other so i supply eddie with as many cores as i can so he can turn around and rebuild them. but like i said if you want used i will sell one, it is used, it works perfect, the dryer is used too, do not expect brand new i dont deal in brand new.
