anyone else have this problem with there radio?

I had that problem with left rear speakers. Replaced the amp with one from my parts car. So far radio is working properly.

Yup, mine does it too - a nasty scratch sound from the left rear speaker that starts quiet then goes up and up in volume - then i have to turn it all off with a 'pop' Mine seems to be heat related. I'll junk the whole system eventually and start over.

I dont have that problem, but mine does like to switch over to CD mode all by itself at random times. I havent been able to make it stop though. Its irratating but not so much that I feel the need to spend money on replacing it.

Best thing you can do junk and replace and rewire the whole mess.

Very true, ford nut. Mine doesn't even have a CD player and i don't longer own any tapes! It's on the 'to do' list... along with many other things! Lol.

I have had my Mark so long lol 5 years I am on my second radio, with cd and deck, the off button would not stay down, and I am on my second amp.

anyone for sure its a amp problem or a deck problem, I like my stock system it has the tape (and I tape my albumns, I can make tapes for people also if anyone needs one let me know have tons of good rock albumns) and the Cd player both work fine but have the on off popping seems to be coming from all the speakers

Tapes LOL... haven't used tapes in so long... dump the old unit and get something to replace it.
