Im new to the forum and I just bought my 95 LSC. I notice a couple issues with the trans...
Very slow to get into gear. When you shift from P to R or any combo it just sits there fot maybe a second or two and them engages. Its a bit worse when going from D to R.
Also There is a pause while driving and shifting from 3 to 4 i think. Just enough to make you lean forward like you let your foot off and then it shifts and all is good.
Any Ideas.
The fluid is red and smells fresh. I was told it was changes about 50k ago. Im thinking of doing a new filter and using trick shift. My brother used it in his 95 t bird with a quick shift module and never had an issue.
Another issue I just noticed. While parked I can hear a vibration just inside the pan. I think it may be something just barely touching the ring gear because it goes faster when I rev it up a bit. I guess Ill see what it is when I get under it to do the tranny kit.
I'd appreciate any ideas from you all and look forward to being a part of this very cool forum.
