So coming from a 99GT I had done allot of suspension mods to my GT. I love speed and Handling, I know allot of guys just like to go fast in a straight line. To me handling is just as important.

What are some mods to improve the handling on the Marks?

My GT had
Bilstein struts
sub frame connectros
H&R springs
strut tower brace
4pt lower brace
poly bushings
steeda sway bars

First and foremost - make sure all of your suspension components are in good condition. Even one worn bushing can cause a sloppy feel.

You can get larger sway bars, and switch to coils - a Tokico or Koni setup might be what you're after.

Replacing the rear sway bar with an Addco performance unit make a huge difference in my '93's handling. Most people can't begin to hang with me on freeway ramps anymore. :)

I have just about every brace you can imagine including custom sub-frame connectors but I agree - start with making sure the original suspension components are up to snuff. 10-15+ years and thousands of miles takes a huge toll on the bushings and other critical suspension/steering pieces. When I finally had the front-end rebuilt I was amazed in the difference in the handling and road feel.

Another mod worth considering is a flaming river steering shaft joint. Definitely tightens up the steering feel.

You can install a suspension control unit and adjust the ride height on the fly which also greatly alters the handling.

Bilstein shocks in the rear seem to help if your shocks need replaced. Unfortunately the front will require replacing the air struts but worth it if they are worn (and most are by now).

go coils :p

Koni shocks - highest setting....
Vogtland springs - 1.6 drop
ADDCO 1 1/4inch rear bar

and then braces too, i still havent installed my K braces on mine lol.............

but yeah its pretty harsh, at the same time though the cars so huge its not that bad............my LSC has a stiffer suspension than my friends Prelude, and hes got the full coil over thing going on.........

1 5/8 sway bars front and rear...ALL new suspensions components, stock heights coils, edelbrock shocks on rear, all poly bushings......handles great..... BUT it is very stiff.....rides great on highway, but it is very rough in town....it also will raise the opposite rear wheel off the ground when pulling into a raised driveway......I'm not saying I wouldn't do it again.....just be ready for what you will be giving up in comfort......It will out handle a lot of smaller, sportier cars, and nothing it's size can come close to it. All parts came from Supercoupe.....I haven't done any of the braces, but plan to. Tires are 245/45/18 Goodyear F1's
