any gas mileage mods?

Better milage?
I see most owners have or are removing the silencer assemblies, does this do anything to improve milage or is it just to make the car sound nicer? I have not removed mine & doubt that the previous owner did.

Perhaps by summer I will be in a position to get the great big 3 mods. I see the chip is $299.00 & the MAF kit is $289.00, so far about $600.00USD. Now for my '94 I wll need the whole kit & kaboodle exhaust system complete beginning to end. I have seen you quote $99.00 per side for a total of $200.00 but I think there is more to it than that, am I missing something? I need to know the total cost because I will likely order the big 3 as one order to save shipping costs. I also need to know what to budget for in total since I have to add the US exchange rate. (I believe the Cdn customs folks will want their cut {duty/tax} also) Thanks in advance, I'm loking forward to it
