Any difference between '00-'02 & '03+ V8 exhaust manifolds?

Browsing the parts at Team Ford, I see V8 exhaust manifolds for the '00-'02, '03-'04, and '05-'06. I don't know what the deal is, but the '05-'06 manifolds are, by far, the least expensive.

I don't know - but since the cat-back systems are not swapable between the 00-02 and 03+ there must be some difference upstream....
maybe since the heads are different the manifolds are too?
