Another freeway story

They say that people resort to name calling and refrain from responding to things when their mental level has been exceeded. I'm glad you have admitted defeat in this way! ;)

Whatever you have to tell yourself to feel better. As already stated, you lack intelligence and think its ok for people to speed and drive like lunatics.

Therefore, because you lack intelligence this makes you stupid, dumb, call it what you will. Its not like I called you a douche. I simply said you were dumb, which you are. If you were Caucasian and i said you were white...that isnt name calling..its the truth. I call things as i see fit. If you lack intelligence, which you do, and i say your dumb, well then..thats just what is.

By all means if it makes you feel better to think i was defeated because i called you out on your lack of intelligence, better judgement, common sense, etc, thats fine by me. It doesnt bother me you resort to child like banter "oh, you called me names so that means you dont have anything to say back and i win because you gave up"...which is all quite amusing...its ok though, I expected nothing less from you. :)

But on all your points, go look at my 4 links if you get a chance. You don't even have to admit I'm right. Just look at them. What I'm arguing actually is state law in many states and is exactly how I worded it.

I did.
I can't find anything in your links that states its ok to tailgate a driver who is passing slow cars.

If I am doing the speed limit and the car in the right lane is a few MPH under the limit it is well within the law for me to be the left lane.
It will take a while to pass the slower car, but its is well with in the law.

No were does it state that its ok to speed and tailgate.

So back to greenlinc first post, that is what he was doing.
Going the limit passing slow cars.

Then you come up with this goofy logic.

Where I grow up if someone is going faster than you, move over! If you can't move over because there is traffic, then increase your speed to get over.

Like I said before its called a speed limit for a reason.
That is the fastest your supposed to go period.

Nobody has to speed to get out of your way.
Its against the law.

The law is not intended to give you a right away to speed.

Ok, since you are using state laws in your defense.

I assume you do not exceed the posted speed limit when you pass a car on the road.

you cant "pick and choose" what laws to obey while forcing laws that happen to defend your point of view, down peoples throats.

When you go "a year" without breaking a single motor vehicle law, THEN.. and ONLY then can you come in here "quoting laws"..

M'kay?

If I am doing the speed limit and the car in the right lane is a few MPH under the limit it is well within the law for me to be the left lane..

that is correct.

And here in Texas it does say "slower traffic keep right".

But that doesnt automagically mean that "the fastest car has the right away and everyone else should get the F out of their way".

ALSO..

Concering "right of way"... just for conversations sake.

you can use "I had the right of way" in defense of an accident.
you "cannot TAKE right of way".
Right of way must be YEILDED first, then "you have the right of way".

you cant simply stamp your foot and say "but I HAD RIGHT OF WAY"... it just doesnt work that way.

Mr, gonna/wannabe lawyer.
you FAIL at "due diligence".

Citing "4" examples of what supports your point of view in regards to a country that has more than 10 times that many states shows you clearly are not "Lawyer Material".

I'll give you a freebie, you can ADD Texas to that list.
But the fact of the matter is.. you provided a "thin slice" of cheese to go with your WHINEY argument.

Well then I guess I will be tail gating half of you and when you try and break check me I will just pass you on the shoulder. Yes I have done this it works very well and some times the car behind me will almost rear end the car that did the break check how would you feel if you made an innocent bi standard rear end you. Bet you would feel like a dumb ass

This post is freakin funny. I have been on both sides of this experience before. slow people in the fast lane piss me off and i don't tend to tailgate unless i have a truck or SUV to scare them over. On the other hand, i was almost run into a tanker truck by an f-350 who wasn't patient enough to let me get over. My wife and newborn son were in the car that time. I called the cops and he was arrested a few minutes later. He's lucky i stopped carrying a gun in the car when i got married.

Im just saying...

Speed limit or no speed limit... Just move over...

When did it become our worry when someone is going over the speed limit? Who's asinine idea was it to "police" these drivers and get in there way cause MORE of a traffic hazard???

I'm not going to quote a bunch of laws all the while picking and choosing ones that suit me... What I am going to preach is COMMON SENSE! Once again why must those who go the speed limit impede those who take the ticket into their hands and speed?

I know I'm not in Europe but their system works... Period...

So get over yourselves and GET OUT OF MY WAY LOL! :D

ESPECIALLY you Ford Nut! :P

stack I think people like to stay in our way cause its there way of making
themselves feel in power over someone else (aka picked on as a kid)

If you pull over a lawyer and try to overticket him, chances are he'll turn that around against you. You specialize in serving and protecting. Lawyers specialize in just the law. They know the laws better so I'd put my money on the lawyer if you tried to flex your legal muscle at him.

I wouldn't "overticket" anyone, but a lawyer driving like a douchebag better have his :q:q:q:q in order.

And if it's a lawyer, I'll be sure to sit in my cruiser and double check the big black book before I cite, even if it takes an extra half hour. :D

And FYI, I have no plans to join the traffic enforcement unit, you'd have to be doing something pretty heinous to catch my attention in the first place.

But when it comes down to "slower traffic keep right" vs "the speed limit" and "don't tailgate," the latter two laws will ALWAYS win.
