Am I being overly picky about this?

I would have been just as picky
i for one am glad you had the balls to complain.
To many people who deserve to compnlain never do.
While the ones who dont complain all the time

I don't think you're being too picky. I'd be the same way after paying that much for 2 center caps and them showing up like that. If you had paid $20 for the pair or something like that, it would be different, but then there would still the fact that he misled you, whether it was intentional or not. I've had stuff I wasn't completely satisfied with from E-bay before too, but, luckily, it was cheap stuff I picked up for around $10 or less, and everything worked, just maybe not exactly perfectly, so it wasn't worth it to me to make a fuss about it and go through the trouble to send it back and all that mess. At least E-Bay TRIES to make people be honest and make them accountable, but there's always those who just don't care about that or what kind of feedback/reputation they build on there as long as they're making a buck doing it.

Yeah, I agree, you don't take an Octi cap and lay it on it's face for the grit to eat at it. I explained to him that if I ever go and have a rotation or balance done, I remove my caps before it ever gets inside the shop. He said he was the same way about his...

That's too funny, I do it as well. The way they just jam something in there to remove them and then just pound them back on drove me nuts. I predicted that this would happen so I always took them off beforehand.

One time I told the guy to leave the caps off (unexpected wheel removal) as I knew he'd break something trying to put them back on. Guess what, he put them back on and bent both the f'n tabs. I'm never going to that place again. Retards couldn't even figure out that I had a bad tire, couldn't balance a wheel for sh!t either.

I agree 100%

The problem with doing multiple auctions is when they're selling more than one, the picture they use in the auction isn't what they send you.

All is done, he is sending me the caps in the latest two pics just as soon as he see's the two I have back at his shop. I am getting an RMA# involved and keeping every message in order, just in case there is a problem.
