Looks closer to the Gen 1 LSE

a tm3 lip spoiler.jpg

the other pic in the link makes it look it has a lot of curve to it, where as it should be stright along the back.. maybe they use the same pic for every car

The other pic looks like someone is bending it (to show how flexible it is?)
For $40 bucks shipped and painted in OEM color it cant hurt to check out, so I probably will for next month's mod.

I sent the seller these questions...

Hello, I am interested in buying this spoiler if you can answer these basic questions:

Do you have a picture of this spoiler installed on a Lincoln LS?
If not, do you have a picture of it installed on any other car?

Why is the spoiler listed for the 2000-2002 Lincoln LS but not the
2003-2006? I believe the trunk lid has the same dimensions.

Can you please send me the exact length and width of this item so that I may check fitment before ordering?

Thank you
I'll post his response for everyone when I get it.

Interest in this too, not for me, but to see if it's actually similar to the lse or not.

OK I'm gonna order it on Friday (payday) I need a spoiler anyway, how bad can it be. It looks like it would be better than the regular lip spoiler.

Guys, responses from this seller have been frustratingly inadequate, After 2 requests I still dont have a picture, The first response had literally zero of the information I requested in my post above. He asked what lenth I was looking for and that's it.

I basically repeated my questions again, and now he sends, "the spoiler is 3cm at its widest point" which is not even close to the LSE unless he means hieght from the monting surface of the trunk lid. I asked him for lenth and a picture one more time and that will be all for me.

the guy is probably in china reading through his chinese to english dictionary, like wah he aska mee abot wittle pwastic caw pawt

Am I the only one in the world to make use of an Escort factory spoiler? (One of the things on my 'to-do' list is to modify it for greater effectiveness.)

what year, my friend has an extra one lying around, PICS maybe of how you have it mounted, Did you have to add and width to it.

Spoiler

If I remember correctly, it's from an Escort from about 2000. It's virtually the same width as the trunk lid, and stands on pedestals so that there's space underneath. I simply set it down on the lid, and moved it around so as to get the best position. I placed it as far back as possible so as to have the trailing edge hanging over the trunk lid, and tilted so as to actually work, as opposed to being just for looks. It's mounted with bolts through the lid. Use a small hole-saw to create clearance in the lid bracing. It seems to work, since the car is rock-steady at speed.

There are photos to be found at #11 in the 'Land Speed LS' thread in the HP section.

IDK..if I dont go ahead and drop the money for a real LSE spoiler I may still try these guys becase I would have very little in the spoiler. I just didn't want anyone here to order because of my post without seeing this.
I did find another aftermarker lip spoiler for about $120 that is pictured on the LS, and it does look very close. I will post a pic & link when I get to work.

I am actually going to purchase one in a week or so. From what i have been seeing most of the guys on here have been buying the universal ones, which i wasn't crazy about, but this guy has one for a little more money that has a better contour to it with rounded off edges. Check out the link you will see what i mean... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Pain...r_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5d2ff50d02

That's one of the spoilers I have bookmarked on ebay. Was just hoping to see how it looked on an LS.
I dug out my '69/'70 Mach 1 spoiler last weekend, WAY TOO big for an LS.
