Alright. I have new Gen II (2003+) headlights and a Gen I (2001) LS. What now?

I sure hope someone has experience, or can direct me to someone who knows how to swap headlights.

I have two new 2003 headlight assemblies and a 2001 Lincoln LS.

The old 2001 headlights have a wiring harness that leads to bulbs in all three openings. The new 2003 headlights have a single 6 prong input to plug in the light bulbs and a wiring harness for the side marker.

Question: Is there a way to get these Gen II lights on a Gen I car? Is there a wiring harness I can steal from a 2003+ LS that will work?

nope. To keep it simple, (lol) I picked up normal halogen.

Yes they will fit. Dont know what you need to do. starfox86 has some on his gen1 maybe he can help you out

right on alax. I will PM starfox and see what he did.

I searched by thread title only. You might have searched through all the post which takes forver.

Make sure you gen the header panel from a gen II. They are different, and you need it to mount the gen II lights.
