This is in the 94. I have been driving to and from san diego on the weekends for the past month and averaging between 29-31 mpg. Thats what it said the last time I filled up. Probably will hit the 500 mark next trip. I'll be taking the 97 this week but the 94 will be next week.

I know its dirty so dont say it.

Havent been on here in a while, busy learning stuff at Camp Pendleton and have limited internet access while I am there. Hope everyone is doing well.

That was right after he filled it up I'm geussing... that number is calculated off the average fuel economy I beleive...

I have to say the Mark has an AWESOME cruising range... I filled up in Minneapolis, than in Kansas and got to Dallas on that tank...

You got some distance there KK. IMO, they could have put in a larger tank, at least 2 more gallons.

i was gonna say, my car has been getting less milage/tank everytime i fill up, i only run premium...well atleast 91 but normally 94 im starting to think there is something wrong..car is all tuned up with good wires and OEM plugs im 15min to and from work mostly highway i only stop twice to make 2 turns and im lucky if i get 520kms/tank about 325miles per tank...the mark i was driving last year which didn run as good or as strong got 640-650km/tank which is almot 400miles/ tanks makes me wonder

I push mine too hard on these back country roads and it hurts the mileage really bad. When I get to the highway and just cruise at 75 then I see high 20's but my car never showes more then 388 when the tank is full.

yes my right foot ratio to fuel mileage doesnt help me out either . im hoping that with the tuner and a couple other things to finally actually see some of these mystical numbers others seem to get, that always seems to elude me somehow or another!

I got 27 mpg to an from rochester mn today...

I can only imagine extended highway miles getting only better!

I used to drive my old 94 from ABQ to Farmington every week, and that was the only driving I did in it. I used to have a pic of 526mi range...

The mileage that these cars get is amazing. Here's a photo of mine after returning from Carlisle:

I feel stupid and I really must be. Until Bill posted his pic, I just realized "TILL EMPTY" showing. I never use that function on my car so really I'm not used to seeing it. Last time I used it, it said 9 miles to empty and it ran out of gas. I have no faith in what that thing says. Something is wrong with my sending unit or float or something so it's not that I'm saying all of your cars are showing wrong, it's mine that I don't trust. I have a spare tank in the garage with a good fuel pump, sending unit, float and everything. When I drop the exhaust to do the transmission, I'm also going to do the fuel tank too. I can't fill mine up or it will leak from the top of the tank. Someone before me put the pump in wrong or it didn't lock in place in the ring right. I took it to the Lincoln shop and they said I needed a new fuel pump, tank, fuel neck and it would be around $1300.00. So, I have gotten myself used to only getting up to 7 gallons of gas at a time, mind you, I don't drive the car very far at all. I put the message center on how many gallons I have used and it is pretty much dead on. I also can't go by my gas gauge either. It will show gas that I don't have.

So to KK and to bryantaylor, I'm very sorry for not paying attention a little better. Poor ole KK was trying his best to kick it in my head wtf was going on. Ok, now I know and feel dumb as H E L L.

I filled my car up the 2nd day after I got it and my son was inside the car. I went in to pay and a man come inside and said I was leaking gas. I looked out at the car and the entire underside was soaked. I ran out and got my son out of the car because anything could have happened. I wouldn't go near it and made my dad come get it and drive it back home. Me and my son drove behind him in his truck. It was only a mile or two from home. This was in 2005 but again, I am used to getting 5 to 7 gallons at a time now and I reset the message center that tells me how many gallons have been used. <----Got that? That's why when I look at something like the pics that have been posted here, It's just automatic for me to see it as what's been used lol. I'll have it fixed soon and btw, the fuel pump that was bad in 2005 according to Lincoln is still pumping till this day and I only run 93, nothing lower. Sorry for the upper stupidity guys.

I get, in the city, with some stints on the highway 4 times a week, 250miles per tank at most. My first mark got much better so, in the last year to try to improve gas milage I've

1. cleaned Mass Air Intake
2. changed plugs
3.Alighment, new tires, (new suspension really)
4.Cleaned with SeaFoam ( although I didn't let the car die while it was being taken in.. and reved it the whole time... this might need to be done again and I've already bought another bottle for it)
5. Kept Correct Tire Pressure
6. Air Conditioner doesn't work so that's not an issue. (never used it)
7. Changed Fuel Filter (first thing I did)

Never changed the O2 sensors though.

Recently I've been thinking of paying for a tunup. I think that will do a lot of good. Otherwise I don't know.

Also, I don't always run Premium. I buy it around every 4th tank.
