Was on my way home from visiting my dad at the Mayo, and saw this:

Didn't bother to start negotiating, because I want a gen2 LSE next. But they were asking 9600. I was thinking 6-6500 would be fair. If it would've been a v6 manual, I probably would've picked it up.
 
What's up with those wheels? I've surely seem them on two other LSes on here.
 
The spoiler is an easy mod. If I buy another gen 1, it's going to be a hard to find model with low miles.

All I can tell you is they were aftermarket 17's. Not too bad looking on the black for 17" wheels. I'd change them right quick if I bought it though.
 
I feel my silver frost LSE is a good buy. I certainly would expect more than 6500 if I were to sell it though. Its super hard to find an 02LSE in my exact color. Actually lately I have only seen maybe 2 or 3 for sale nationally. Plus I literally have every service record/receipt from this cars entire life. Would I trade it for an average Gen2, probably not. Would I trade it for a Gen2 LSE or black 06, in a heartbeat. Color is important to be but the LS looks oh so good in black, silver frost, and white. I dont know why I dont like the silver birch color. Just to plain for me

But I'm with you on that. If it were a manual it would have been sold already I'm sure
 
To me, "hard to find" would be a gen 1 LSE v6 5 speed. First gen LSE was only 2002 model year (obviously), and out of about 2500-2700 manual transmission models made total, finding one in a gen 1 LSE would be pretty rare.

Of course, only us LVC'ers would care about that lol.

Both very true statements. That LSE sure is nice. I consider the price to be a bit steep but not out of control. Maybe I'm biased because I only paid $2950 for mine:D
 
i agree with holding out for a 2nd gen, after owning both, it would be very hard to go back to a 1st gen, a manual however could make it all worth it!
 
Thats the thing. Its to bad they're aren't more LS enthuisests who actually buy the car. General public just buys it and drives it. Even tho its an LSE most buyers don't really care.

Hmm, I was thinking the same thing about the silver frost lol. I could be biased though :p. But I do think black is probably the best color to get even though I feel it is the most common color. I like Pacific Blue Metallic though, just cause it is different and I don't ever see it.
 
I agree the blue does look really good. Mainly because you don't see it so often. But I think every car has its own "color" that really shows the lines of the car. Or brings out its "essence" if you get where I'm coming from. Black LS' IMO really do look best. But I'd have to also say I absolutely love Alax7 and RodLS Gen2s. Coming from a white car...theres a special place in my heart for Sexy white cars ;)

Black does look best its just the worst to keep clean.
 
And I think silver is the easiest to keep clean. But silver and white really don't show that "wow" reflections that black does. (When its clean)
 
Personally I'd like a white LSE to go with my black one. I'd have the best of both worlds
 
That a nice LSE and not bad on the miles at all IMO.
