Well my Mark VIII Family,
I think I am about to have an adventure in getting screwed over in trying to give a so called "new player in the air suspension game" a damn opportunity. I ordered the Suncore front air struts for my 97 Mark VIII LSC. Now the passenger side air strut went in beautifully and even worked with Arnott Soleniods I already had (which should not have been a surprise).
But now comes the lovely getting done without vaseline or the courtesy of a reach around. The drivers side air strut fit fine, but the solenloid (neither the original or the Arnott) would fit in the soleniod socket on the strut. Now I noticed that the soleniods differ from passenger to driver side, so that was not the issue. So looked into the socket on the driver's side air strut only to find some sort of nozzle in there. I thought maybe I tripping, but I checked my original strut and there was no sort of nozzle in the socket. It was actually hollow which allows the solenoid to fit completely snug. So, I figured ok no worries.........I will call technical support. Well that is when I call and I am put on hold for 15 minutes only to be told by the person that answered the phone that he could not help me since technical support would not be in till DAMN Thursday this week?!!!! I am like WTF!!! That is not posted on the damn website, so in the mean time I have to wait to Thursday to find out if a definitely screwed or not. And in the meantime, my ride is sitting face dropped to the ground and rear end ass up in the air. HMMMMMM, my Mark seem to be imitating how I am getting done by this company.
I should have done business with Eddie or Arnott, but I guess this what I get from trying to give a business that claims they want to support our group a shot. Well the old adage always holds true......Buy Cheap, Buy Twice.
Well Eddie it looks like I am coming to you for a front passenger airstrut unless someone can tell me if that damn nozzle portion is supposed to be in the socket of this new strut.
