airbag light and weird interior chime

Ok my Mark VIII has been sitting for awhile and I gotit back to nc to start driving it again well the airbag light is flashing code 51 (looked it up said something about a blown fuse or resistor in the module. I cant remember off the top of my head) also everytime I shut the car off there is an almost alarm type chime that sounds like its coming from the passenger side under the dash. It's different from the chime when you leave your lights on. This alarm will keep going off after I get out and shut the door and even lock the car. Any ideas? I tried the search function but didn't see anything.

replace the aig bag module its happened to me before too. one of mine just decided to fry and melt when my wife was driving down the road. it takes 2 seconds to change. pay the shipping i will send you one before my father in law throws the rest away he has been on a rampage.
