how do i take that air thing in front of the crank pully off

the thing that has the metal tubes from the exhaust manifold it connects infront of the crank shaft, ya know the air thingy

Mine was torn off when I swapped engine. Not clue how to take it off the right way.

Usually when I'm working on a car and I need tor emove something I take out all the bolts.

I just need to know the easiest way to remove from the metal tube with out breaking anythingn

It has two fittings in the front of each manifold. PB blaster and LOTS of it. Then loosen. Of course with it out you can forget driving it anywhere unless you have some plugs to put in there!!

first thing you need to do is find some wrenches, then put them on the ends of the pipes and break them free, its not too hard to figure out, the pipes are threaded into the secondary air valve just like brake lines. lefty loosy, righty tighty

well i broke it off, to much muscle, you think i could solder it back together, it runs fine with out it dose anybody know how important this thing is

If you have emissions, it may matter but likely not. It only runs at start up.

it should trigger a check engine light without it
