air thingy

Mine was torn off when I swapped engine. Not clue how to take it off the right way.
 
It has two fittings in the front of each manifold. PB blaster and LOTS of it. Then loosen. Of course with it out you can forget driving it anywhere unless you have some plugs to put in there!!
 
first thing you need to do is find some wrenches, then put them on the ends of the pipes and break them free, its not too hard to figure out, the pipes are threaded into the secondary air valve just like brake lines. lefty loosy, righty tighty
 
well i broke it off, to much muscle, you think i could solder it back together, it runs fine with out it dose anybody know how important this thing is
 
If you have emissions, it may matter but likely not. It only runs at start up.
