AIR RIDE Question

Is it common for the air ride system on a gen 1 to do strange things when it gets cold? My wife reports that ck air ride came on, and drove the same as normal. I just took a look and the front is aired up higher than normal. It sat overnight in the garage about 35 degrees. The good it's still aired up I replaced everything 1 1/2 -2 years ago. Sounds like it did'nt vent down. I opened drivers door, closed it and it stayed the same. Both sides are at the same height. Car looks like it wants to go off road. Thanks TONYyyy

Check your front height sensors. Sometimes they will pop off the mounts and that will cause the front end to rise.

I just went out 20% burrr and started the car sat on the fenders and it went to normal height. Like me it probally had a brain fart. I'll keep an eye on it. Thanks for your help TONYyyy

I would still check the sensors to see if the bolt has become loose. It's not a good thing for the car if the sensor is wiggling around in there and it is having to adjust height. I had this happen to me when I took my car for an alignment.

Sometimes, if you have a lot of water in your drier, it will freeze and won't vent.

Re-did the front end 2 yrs ago but I'll get to checking everything out. We've been having wacky weather here in CT One day 60 the next 20. Perfect to have moist conditions happen. Thanks again TONYyyy
