Air Bag Light/Heated Seat

Okay, I've read all of the topics about the dreaded 3 and 2 airbag light problem. I checked the connections, or at least as best as I could without removing the seat and it looked like everything was hooked up. But, now that it's cold out and we've started using the seat heater, we noticed that it's not working on the driver's side. Hopefully this means that the thing is just unplugged and it's not the clock spring. Does this make sense and do I have to remove the seat to find the connector? I couldn't see anything the last time I looked under the seat, it was just too tight.

sounds like the connector is bad - it handles both the srs sensor and the heater. it gets tugged on all the time with the easy-entry feature moving the seat back and forth.

I've looked at that exact post before when searching. I had a hell of a time seeing anything under my seat. I guess I'm going to have to remove the seat and take a better look. Glad I didn't get a wild hair and replace the clock spring now. I'll have to give it a shot this weekend, thanks.
