Aftermarket Tail Lights

OK, seeing as how the only tail-light other than the stock red one for the Gen1 LS aren't made anymore, and if you happen to find a pair they are ridiculously priced, i have been trying to think of what i could do for some different tail lights. Pretty sure that painting them is the only answer. Trying to think of some diff patterns / styles that i could paint them. Anyone have any SERIOUS suggestions?

Most gen2 guys want to go all red and the gen1 guys that have all red want to go 2 toned or different.lol.

You can try the chrome strips in the indentations, or maybe paint them black, not tint but paint the little indentations that go across black.

It's hard to think of one.

I think you may have had about the same idea i had...here is what i think they would like if i painted them. BADASS

what if you do it the opposite way, so where its red in those pics, make it black, and where its black in the pics, mike it red

Yea that would look cool, just have to get it done professionally or take your sweet time.

Gen1 guys are lucky... Their trunklid lights actually have a purpose. That is one peeve I have over the gen2

here you go...tails both ways. Opt 1 & Opt 2. I personally like option 1 the best. just looks...idk..it just does. looks like pure sex. and thx for the compliment. i like them too.

don't really like option 2 now that i actually see it and i don't like the two-tone, so option 1 definately

Alax, if memory serves me correctly, i believe that you are the LED guru. Something just to enhance the look. Put like 2-3 LED's in each of the Red Stripes on Option 1. Find someway to convert the current Brake plugs with the new ones. Hmmmm
