Aftermarket sunroof?

Since I'm like the only person alive with an LS without a sunroof, is it even possible/worthwhile to get one installed? My Mark VIII had one and at first I didn't think I'd miss it... I was wrong. How much would something like this be?

Yes. Our old 2001 had an aftermarket sunroof installed. I don't remember the name of that company (ASC maybe?), but here's one.

if your going to get a aftermarket sunroof, i would make sure to get one with a lifetime warranty. they seem to break a lot more often than the OEM's do

last time i checked (my 1st gen didnt have one) was $1k (a couple of places wanted $1200)

one of our dealers told me where to go, it was the place they sent all of their sunroof work to, i didnt even know that they contracted this out until i had them (Lincoln/Mercury) repair the sunroof on my mark.

they actually recommended having this done on a new car over getting it from the factory because of the lifetime warranty.
