there is no aftermarket replacement available. people have tried swapping mustang coils in - with mixed results, but they do not fit under the stock coil cover.

Sorry, aftermarket was a bad word. I was refering to the ones you can find on ebay that are 140 for 8 as opposed to the expensive motorcraft ones.

If your talking about a ebay store like AlanisdealsO6, i referred them to this site and how there was some unsatisfied customers on here. I got these aftermarket coils and it turns out that they were the same motorcraft coils they send as the $200 motorcraft coils they sell. All I'm saying is when you talk to them on the phone make reference to LVC and that you don't want a shotty product! with me i guess they tried to redeem themselves. I had none of the same problems that a couple of the LVCr's did.

This company was called Global Automotive. The coil pack set of 8 was $140 as compared to the other set I saw for $240. I don't wanna do this whole thing twice but it seems like such a good deal.
