About a month ago I noticed a rattling sound coming from my ac clutch, so I bought the clutch kit and took it off. I am now in the process of putting it all back together and am sort of at a loss, I cant seem to get the new magnet pressed on. Any advice would be much appreciated.

I have to do the same thing to mine soon. But if it's anything like the one I did on my Exploder a couple of years ago, it shouldn't need to be "pressed" on. It should pretty much slide over the shaft. But it's a tight fit. It has to be pretty much perfectly straight to go on. Now don't hold me to that. It's been a while since I did one of those. Just fiddle with it. It will go on.

Gawd, I tried to do this on my old marquis. Mine ended up seizing about a month after the rattleing started. I was able to bang the clutch off but couldn't press the new one in using a hammer, duct tape, bungy cords, c-clamps, scissors or a phillips screwdriver. Some real Ripped Camel type sh!t. Ended up taking it to midas, they bent me over and gave it to me hard.

Lesson learned.
