I have a 1995 Lincoln Mark VIII and the ABS light has recently come on. The code scanner says its a code 26 - RH Rear Inlet Valve. I've flushed the brake system doing normal bleeding procedures. Is there a way to cycle the abs module to check it or to bleed the abs module to see if that will clear the codes. Disconnecting the battery does not clear the code, I left the battery disconneted overnite. I've got an extended warranty on the car so if the module needs replacing it will be covered.

Also, replaced both motor mounts on the vehicle a few weeks ago, and let me tell you - I've never done so much cursing over a 2 day period. What a pain in the butt that was, on jack stands and laying on my back for 2 days. Now I've got to do the tranny mount and it looks like both U-joints are needing some attention. Should be a fun job.

Thanks, Will

You can make the ABS cycle if you have traction control. (by having rear jacked up, car running in D and traction control turned on)

Just be careful!
