abs light?

hey everyone, i just noticed the past few weeks that my abs light keeps coming on and going off sporadically by itself... i'm talkin about i'll start the car (03 ls6) light comes on, stays on until i turn the car off and when i come back to start the car again it doesn't bother to come on. it has been doing this the past 3 weeks, in which i have noticed it happen 3 different times. the car is not making any strange noises and still brakes fine and quiet. i would assume it is a bad sensor. does anyone have any input on this??? thanks

Could be a sensor but I would look at the master cylinder resevior and make sure it is topped off. Check the simple stuff first, if your fluid is full then proceed to check the sensors.

could be the ABS wheel sensors.

Mine did it for a while, then it got progressively worse - under braking the brakes wold 'rattle' like ABS was on, then the speedo started to jump around...
