im followin the instructions in the tech article, but for the life of me i cant seem to get the piston to compress. This is my first brake yob, and im a little lost. My buddy told me that it could be the type of piston you have to screw back in, and that i would do it in a clockwise motion if it was, or i just compress it. (rear brakes btw) so, i opened the bleader and got some of the excess pressure out, but it still wont budge. what should i be doing?

You need one of these for the rear brakes and it turns the piston in..

yes, if your are doing the rears. needle nose pliers work if they are free'ed up but it could be tough and dont get that damn cube thingie it sux worse than needle nose pliers

lol, why? whats wrong with the cube?

On the front, you should be able to compress the piston without turning it.
The rear you have to turn and screw in while compressing it.
I tried one of those "cube" tools, and didn't have much luck with it. Needle nose piers didn't work either. I ended up borrowing a tool from a guy at work that compressed and turned the piston at the same time. You can rent one of these at Auto Zone or Advance.
