98 Mark VIII with a 51 Mercury front & rear done in steel. :)

I'm already saying, "what were they thinking?!?"

The whole center of the car just doesn't flow. It looks VERY out of place.

That's pretty much the ugliest thing to happen to a Mark VIII since yellow paint...

BINGO!

Maybe that's why the "creator" is selling it. He's probably scratching his head saying "WTF was I thinking?!?!?"

All,

1951 Ford , Not Mercury !

Good Luck,
Sonny

That's correct, I don't know why I said Mercury. My 1st car was a 1950 Ford Business Coupe similar to this one.

If you use your imagination a bit it does have some resemblance to the Mark VIII's around the passenger compartment area. It has some pretty nice lines for a 63 year old car!!!

That is truely horrible. Kinda reminds me of those old Quicksilver Zimmers they used to make using Fox Mustangs and Cougars.

WOOOOOW! You just took me back bigtime! I remember seeing those on TV a few times. Those things looked like a mix between a Corvette, a Fiero, an Olds Toronado, a Riviera, a Mustang, a Thunderbird, a Mark VII & the back end of a Gremlin. Put them all in a blender & voila! lol

The Quicksilver Zimmer based on the Fiero:

Oh yeah! The Zimmer was based on the Fiero!

Here are a couple of Mustang based Quicksilvers. New and old:

Wow. Just, wow. Now there's somebody with a little too much time on his hands

But that is one seriously cool Lego model. It's amazing to me how people can build such complicated creations just using Legos. Very, very impressive.
