94 mark no crank no start

hey guys,

Today i decided to start my 94 mark viii after 9months of sitting, went to start it no start nothing so i tryed to boost it yeah bad idea all i got was a click and smoke on the intake side at the back of the motor? so clearly battery was dead so i bought a new one tryed again same thing just a click like a solenoid click but no smoke. anti theft light goes off when i close the door. cant hear the fuel pump prime but it should still crank? checked all fuses all look good, where is the main fuse located? the cars slammed to the ground because i run a fast bag setup id have to fill the tank to lift the car up to tap the starter to see if it will start but in the mean time any ideas? is the starter ceramic? Love you guys

smoke at the back of the motor on the intake side? that could possibly be from the starter.

fully charge the battery out side of the car.
clean all the battery terminals.
re install battery. see what happens.

Yep, sounds like you let the magic white smoke out of the starter. Once its out you can't put it back in.
Time for a new one if you get nothing with a fully charged battery.

Agreed, sounds like the starter toasted itself.
