i heard somewhere (here probably) that the 93's have quicker steering. i think its in the rack right? so i guess my question is has anybody swapped a 93 rack into a later year (specifically a gen II)? i really wish the steering on my car was a little quicker and i thought the 93 rack might help that. Any thoughts??

98s have different mounts. Not really sure what is different. The bushing part numbers are different though.

As for the 93 ratio differeence I had based that on a link that showed various years changes and originaly it had the 93 rack listed as a different ratio (quicker) but since has been updated and now shows the same ratio across the board.

so i would assume based on the link in the link that all gen I racks are quicker? if so i guess that would make them easier to find. has anyone done a rack swap?

so i finally opened up my "refurbished" rack, and the bushing are :q:q:q:qed up. is it possible to buy just these bushings? I cannot find them anywhere or even a part #

What bushings? How long have you had it? Take it back to the store?
Why didn't you just start your own post as it doesn't seem to have anything to do with this other than its about a steering rack?? ;)
