93-96 engine cover fit 97-98?

Just wondering, does a 93-96 engine cover fit a 97-98?

But you may be able to make it fit...

I'd be inclined to say no. I'll have to see if I can dig my old '96 engine cover out of the junk in in the barn and just see what it would look like on the '97. But the intakes are different and there are no coil packs on a GEN2. I don't think it would work without some serious modification. Personally, I don't care for engine covers. I want to see my engine. Bask in its glorious awesomeness...and stuff...

With some work, anything can fit.

A gen 2 cover can fit on a gen 1 tho.
