has anyone tried to swap one? i have a lead on one and i need a motor for my lsc, any ideas, pro's and con's
 
I was thinking the Mitsubishi 3.0dohc would be a better choice
 
32v 4.6 are just as cheap I bet as the motor your looking at. Ill be looking for one in the spring time.

im sure its heavier and larger over all, but 5oo.00 with trans was sounding interesting to say the least. but seriously i think ill get a forged kit for it and hang a blower on it a tune and go from there....thanks
 
Any motor can be done. The question is is it feasible? My mechanic says it can be done. You just need cut a hole in the hood or come up with a custom k-member that will lower the engine a bit like the guy in that link did. The Thunderbird is no different than a Mark. Honestly I hope you do it. I would come down to help one weekend if you need.
 
Just? Ah, no. New booster, custom mounts, custom exhaust manifolds..... all for what? 4 0 more HP and 150 more lbs? No thanks.
