You can trow most of these #s out the window, I had most of the brands of DR in 315 sizes.315 Nitto and 315 M/T Drag radials are very narrow tires for being 315. Put 315/35/17 BFG or Hoosier next to 315 M/T then you will see the difference.

Those 275/50/15 BFG DR posted above are as wide as 315/35/17 M/T DR on my car.

Not trying to knock you, just trying to get it straightened out. If they're on a 9" wheel they have to be pretty narrow...

+1, M&H is probably the most notorious... they've got a DR with a tread width of 11.3" and call it a 325/45/17 when it's really more like a 285 - they've got the section width but the tread width is tiny.
