3.9 L Emblems

I came across 3.9L emblems on AutoBadges.com. These are aftermarket emblems for V6 Mustangs but I bought a pair for my V8 Lincoln. I bought the 3.5" Brushed Aluminum Silver WEB B Fender Emblem - 3.9

Something different...
 
I've thought about putting 3.9 L emblems on the coil covers but I think the heat would be to much.

arenine, where are you thinking about putting the emblems on your car?
 
Post up pictures after you install them.
 
I added a V8 emblem to the fenders of my 2006 LS. See photo. The emblem came from the last generation Thunderbird, where they were also placed on the fenders (2004 I think). Ford part number 3W6Z16228AA.

If the 3.9 in the LS made more power I wouldn't mind telling everybody the size but... V8 emblem is probably best for outside appearance. However, that will lead to people asking question about the size! What's an LS owner to do!:confused:
 
Personally I dont like any emblems. 3.9 is so borderline v6 to most people they think its a 6 cylinder automatically cause its not a 4.0.

I could careless if they think its a 4 banger, adds to the elements of surprise:D .

Haha, too buy a real muscle car! Actually I brag about how well it does for being a small displacement, and being all aluminum quad cam etc.. etc.

What surprise? :confused: Weak a$$ mid 200 hp? Stock neon srt-4 makes more power than our cars and is a 1000lb's lighter. :eek:

Face it our cars suck for power. ;)

Well of course it is out of place it is a after-market logo made for V6 Mustangs on a Lincoln LS. :) Think early 90's Mustang 5.0.

There great thing about the LS is since the resell value decreases faster then my 401K then I feel free to try all kinds of mods and see what looks good w/o worrying about what i will get for it when i trade it in. B/C well it will not be a lot.
 
true, but sticking stuff on a car like a decal is not mod though. Just saying its kinda out of place do to the car being kinda sleek and it has something on it that does not match. But, everyone likes something different so that being said, enjoy it
 
Looks 100% better than most other stick on crap I see. I wont do it, I like the clean look way to much but I like how it is nice and flat.

IMO cant get a much more sleek emblem than one like that.
 
Back in the fifties, a common emblem was three of a kind plus a pair. A 'full house' was a completely worked-over engine.
