2nd Gen performance Exhaust set up?

That was my favorite set-up of his. Shame the cops didn't care for it and he had to change it. Sounded exotic.

No "H" pipe at the rear and some kind of a crossover up front.....
I think that crossover at the front may be a second catalytic converter.
To many dBs? what state is he in? Cops must have not liked him for some reason... or were just douches.

yea seriously i floor it where im from and cops dont do a damn thing, while having windshield tints and beats blastin....until....they....stole...it.....

I’m more worried about performance then sound really. Either way I’d probably be able to hear them while I’m in the car driving so I don’t really worry about what people along side of me hear.

To me it sounded perfect, Just like Tommy said. Everyone has their own tollerance and what they consider loud, you deff heard my car. When I would get on it was when it got loud, idle was not bad at all.
I never liked the way any 8 cylinder car sounded with a rear muffler set up, I never liked the way Corvettes sounded when you did exhaust to them, to me the center muffler sounds waaaay better.
One day I will take those rear mufflers back off, but for now I am staying away from tickets. Damn ticket I had to go to court for, if it was just a pay by mail I would have left it.
Looking for the best performance prob magnaflows or borla. Prob wont gain much since you're asking about an 06 but if anything, will gain more from those than the others.

Yeah that's what I'm reading. I know I stated earlier that I don't really care about sound but with a stock exhaust you can't really hear sh!t but the nice rumble of my magnaflows on my current LS is more what I'm talking about. What serise of magnaflows should I go on a 2nd Gen including 06's?
According to Lincoln engineers, not a cat. If it was empty that just reinforces the crossover theory.
oh ok, I thought it seemed wierd how that "cat" was empty.

I think you can use the same series or system you already have. I could be wrong though. I don't remember picking a series when I ordered my magnaflows.. I just found the right inlet outlet size and location..

Okay that's good to know, how about X, H pipes? No don't think that's really be covered on this thread. The topic of resonators has already been brought up as well as exhaust tube size.
