20inch rims. what tires should i get?

nope, they are too narrow for 20", won't look good. Find some 20x8.5s 40 + offset and you are gonna need 245/35/20 tires.

what you mean too narrow they look pretty good and is that for all 4 fuk thats cheap!!

I mean that they are narrow, they are 7.5 versus 8.5 that most of the 20s are on the LSs.

c'mon guys 7.5 isnt too bad with the right offset, but I have 8.5s. 8.5s give it a wider more aggressive stance

i think 7.5 will look too narrow, isn't the stock 17" rim 7 inches?

Those look better but don't waste money being cheap. Save up and get some good wheels trust me you would appreciate them more when they actually hold together. Some idiot here in the Lehigh Vally area got a set of those cheap nameless brands and they bent to hell in 2 months.

If you go the cheap route at least dont get 20's go with 19's or even 18's. Your car is your car and altho I will not laugh in your face some people that you actually come in contact with will. IMO its one thing to get cheap wheels if you "need" wheels but then buy into a cliché and get cheap wheels is even worst. There is no point getting 20's if they are going to be cheap.

Im sorry bro but those wheels you posted look even cheaper and not a good match for a fuller figured car at all. IMO they both look cheap but I would take the wheels that look like there is something to them before I buy those others way up top.

This is the set Im saveing for, AME SHALLENS in 19x9 maybe im not sure but maybe 9.5.....

I'm pretty sure they can be made to order as most elegant:D 3 and 2 piece wheels do. If not I'm stuck with a set of TSW Carlton's that a local shop says would fit perfect. The thing is they come in chrome and hyper black so I'm leaning toward a used set for cheap that might need work and while I'm at it getting any rash or scratches filled in, just use the money I would have going into the AME's and get them refinished to my liking instead of re-chroming them or re-painting them.

But I am almost positive I can get the AME's to fit.

i have 20x7.5 with 245/35/20 tires. i thought i was getting 20x8.5 with a +48mm offset but i forgot to ask if that offset came in 8.5 also, and it didn't. all the wheel/tire shops told me to go with the 235`s but i thought they were too skinny. 245`s on the 7.5w looks pretty decent. 8.5 would look better but more prone to rubbing if you dont get the correct combo of specs. i have loaded my car with 4 grown people all over 150lbs including myself, and drove regularly with no rubbing at all; even over bumps, and i also have my full turning radius (full lock left and right). my rear wheels were tucked that day. i kinda wanted them to stay in the car because it looked so good since it appeared to be lowered :-D.

What wheels are yours? These are the only black wheels that I really like. From these pictures you really can't tell the difference between the 7.5 and the 8.5, maybe when you look from behind the car that's when it is noticable, I don't know.

yea its not too bad. i would go with 8.5 if i had to do it again though. i would go snap some pics without the shadow but the car is in the shop right now. my rear caliper went bad and all my brake fluid leaked out while i was on vacation. BAD BRAKE JOB BY MINEKEE. if thats how u spell it. i went back to tell them about it and they were gone.. lol.. they sold out and left. go figure huh.

okay so whats a good tire size for 20x8.5 with 40 offset. Hmm wondering any of you guys have a staggered stance on these cars cuz the rear wheel drive. Also black lincoln was it easy to install the chrome grill, it seems like a couple botls just hold it done.

245 35 20. One guy on here I think BIGBODY has 8.5 in the front and 9.5 in the back I forget what size tires he has in the back but the front are 245 35 20 and it looks great.

Actually, the more I look at my 245/35/20's on my 8.5's, the more they look like they are beginning to mushroom and look funny.

245/35/20 should work well. a few other guys should have some more info on the staggered question. and the grille was really easy. i think it was just those 2 bolts. took me like 10 mins if that long.
