I'm having a hard decision like UltimateSVT(not trying to steal his thread idea, just cant decide), so I figured I'd post some options up and see what everyone thought.

I really like the last two pics but the darn truck had to ruin them IMO.

Option 1 (Mirror Pic):

There's a lot of pros & cons abput each pic. Im having a hard time deciding because I like them all.

Pic #1. It's my favorite but when someone see's that picture in the calendar, it's a "random" Mark VIII. It's hard to pin point who's car that is.

Pic #2. This same picture was done by another member last year. Just looks like a repeat.

Pics #3 & #4 I like very much. However #3 is off center. You may risk getting part of the nose cut off in the final edit of the calendar. Then on both 3, 4, the backgrounds are not the best with a random truck right behind your car.


So in the end I'm still confused. If that truck wasn't there I'd choose #4.

Thanks for the Input, and i agree that truck sucks.


Here's another option if the world headquarters one seems like a repeat, even thought there's a mustang hiding between the marks:p

I like number 1 but its just too far away..I've always wanted to have someone drive beside me and get a pic of the side of my car while at speed.

Yes, this was on our way back from Carlisle. My brother took his own car and decided to take some pictures as we were driving down the road, I'm surprised how great the picture came out as he was driving when he took this.
 
I'm liking #1 too.If your name is with the pic, I think we'll know who's it is. ;)

Take it to the woods somewhere and get some pics of it alone, with nothing else around. I'm not messing with the calendar this year. Got in it once and that's enough for me. Hope you get it in there. Car looks good!

If we were able to edit I would put my username in the lower corner, but how many silver frost base gen 1's are driving around with lsc housings?
 
Yeah I took some pics the other day at a few differnt locations but if we have till october ill wait and see what kind of pictures other people post and try and find a unique background..because a picture of your car is just a picture of your car, the lighting and background is really what "makes" the photo.
 
All your photos are nice. Mirror photo would definitely get the creativity award, but if I am going to stare at a photo on a calendar for a whole month, I would try to re-shoot #4 at a different location and go with that.
 
Well I washed her today and there was no truck so I took advantage of it and took retakes;)

The color and contrast in #2 is the best of the 5.

I would re-shoot that one to get it in a better frame overall.

I like the mirror photo better than all your retakes still. The lighting is way too harsh and the background still isn't helping.
 
Anybody ever took a pic with a grave yard in the back ground? I did this once with a motorcycle (tumb stones close by) and it turned out great! That silver car would look bad a$$ with some 18th century grave stones in the pic!

Never thought about going to a cemetary to take pics lol..pretty good idea, most cemeteries around me have nice landscaping and backdrops to shoot pics in front of.
 
I can't decide which background to use on my photoshoot.
Plenty of water and lakes here also lots
of trees on grassy knolls but thats been done before.

I'd really like to find an old dilapidated barn as my backdrop.
 
Personally I would love to see more working shots, like a nice back lit mark VIII block or some cool mark viii exhaust welding pictures, or marks lined up on the tree, etc….

I love looking at the sleek lines of a mark, but mine is basically stock so it’s nice to see something different and creative shots with the Lincolns. Any idiot can take a good looking night time shot of their car with a well-lit bridge in the background.
