Checked the compression in the cylinders and they're all good

Changed all of the valve cover gaskets

Still have oil in the plugwells.

EGR valve? Could it be coming from the bottom of the tubes?

EGR, no, not even remotely...

Bottom of the tubes, yes. There are o-ring like seals there. They are to be replaced along with the outer valve cover gaskets. Where else could the oil come from?

Does anyone have the torque specs and tightening sequence for the valve covers I am about to redo them this weekend.
