i forund a place that sell H/O alts for 1st gens but not 2nd gens, you will probably have to send it out somewhere to have it rewound

what? How does that solve the issue of getting a HO Alt for the 3.9 gen2

Well, go pick up one for say, the old 94 - 96 Caprice 5.7 Detective Specials. Weld the bastard on and get a belt new belt that will allow it to fit.

It was completely sarcastic originally, but thats how you could do it.
