I have about 74,000 miles on her and the front end started making a noise. It seems when I turn or hit bumps you can feel it grinding and then clunking. It doesnt seem like a balljoint but maybe a tie-rod? Anyone have a similiar situation?

Sway bar end links actually. Could have prevented another useless thread if you had just SEARCHED

But no, your the first person to come across this problem.

Those are some big words frog...I mean missing linc.

But yeah, check your sway bar bushing.

So how hard is to to swap the gen2 front sway bar? I believe you have to remove the whole bar correct? How much is that part? I'm getting clunk noises also

nope, but you do have to cut the old bushings out. Should just have to replace teh bushings. I have heard of a sway bar being cracked before though.

Really hmmm are the rear bushing size the same as the front cause I accidentally ordered the rear and have a pair lol

I'll just search lol

I just read on some other threads and there stating that the whole

He has an '04. Bushings aren't replaceable as they are bonded to the stabilizer bar. IF it is the bushing, the whole stabilizer bar will need replacement.

Yeah that

They say the whole sway bar has two be replaced because the bushing are molded on. To replace only the bushing you would have to cut them off. They also said black sealant headlight could not be taken apart, techncally they're right, they have to be CUT apart.

Okay so I don't have to replace the stabilizer bar just cut the bushings out... Has anyone done this??

Ill search lol at work so might as well

Another question,

I accidentally ordered my rear sway bar bushings so I have those will these bushings fit the front end?

The bushings I have are OEM and don't have brackets like the ones from Energy suspensions prob going to order a pair from them.

Looks like quite the job but hey whats the fun in letting someone else do the work on your car

exactly, plus you'll be saving money

So the if i were to buy a Stabilizer bar will the new bushings come with it? Does anyone know how much they run?

BTW i did search and literally couldn't come up with anything. . . Sorry for another thread on it though

from what I understand, replacing the entire bar is more of a PITA than just the bushings.

Drizz I'm relying on your experience this weekend on changing the bushings. You know a walk through isn't a bad idea

From what the previous post say the bushings are quite a PITA to change. Whats the price difference between the both?

Do the rear stabilizers tend to go as well?
