2001 lincoln ls

Have a heating problem in 2001 lincoln ls v8,car reaching right temp on gauge but heater does not give full heat.Does get warm enough to heat inside after awhile but not real hot like heter should be..Can anyone tell me what to check ??,,thanks Chuck

Happened to me, try the Aux pump. It's on the passenger side under the hood. It should click when it's working.
