Nice. Im just about to get to installing my Pioneer, which is 6.5" deep, and was concerned about mounting depth. Glad to hear you got everything stuffed in there.
It took a bit if finessing cause I spliced the wires and then wrapped Them in 3-4 layers of electrical tape To be sure wires wouldn't blow a fuse
And it would look neater
