there has been new members joining recently, for those who dont know, or have not yet seen, i have been restoring headlight housings like mad lately, and thank you to all who send them to me to re-do!
i am going to post pics of some i have done, so you can see for yourself. these are still available new, but you'll spend close to 500 bucks for a pair, if yours are yellowed, rusty looking inside, or if you just plain cant see at night, you need them redone. i rechrome the insides 100% and make the lense crystal clear again inside and out. when i am finished they are about 95% as close looking to new housings, at a fraction of the price. for $100 bucks this is what i can do for your headlights. if you are interested shoot me a pm or email, lately my turn around time is less than a week. check out the pics and decide if you think its worth it for you, if your lights are not physically broken, i can make them like new again.

some of the above are real 96 hid housings, so thats why they are totally clear lenses, the halogens wont look like that, but i posted those pics as well to show you i can do the hid housings also. again if you are interested in being able to see again, pack up your housings and ship em down to florida.

If i stuff a hundo in one of the lenses and send them down to you would that be suffice?;)

yeah but stuff enough extra in there for me to ship them back too!! average set of lights takes me about 10 hours total so thats only 10 bucks an hour!! i dont pay for the shipping back to you!!!!!

Jamie, do the gen 1 HID lenses have a clear coating on them like the gen 2's do?

Looks great!

have you tried the gen 2 yet? the outside of my lens is all fuzzy it would be great to get them buffed to a clear shine

That part is VERY easy... just wet sand and buff...

Cutting them open and redoing the chrome is the hard part...

Jr any kit off ebay that is 9005 based will work. just go to ebay and type 9005 hid kit, then just buy from someone with good feedback, the last one i bought which is getting retro'd into 2nd gen housings was only $50 bucks shipped and i tested them already on a battery and they work awesome, slim ballasts to for easy mounting.

Thanks, looking on ebay and it seems that most of them are 10.00 for the kit and 40.00 for the shipping+ alot of them are not based in the usa, do you know the name of the seller you bought yours from??

look up ..........
