So these are hard to find, etc....

But for fun I looked them up on Rock Auto and they do have rebuilds. There is a core charge. $110 to $220 includes a core charge.

Just FYI.

haha. My friend blew up my vrcm on my 96 parts car. Fried that motha.
 
I think I may just get a new one this summer. Its bound to fail at some point...
 
I wonder if this is too good to be true. I have been looking for an F6LF-14B239-BC 1996 VRCM for 9 months. The parts clerk at Rock did not sound confident that the rebuild would fit my part number. Any suggestions?
 
No luck with rock

I called rock auto and thier part does not match the F6LF 14B239BC.

One showed up on Ebay that sold for $396.

I am still looking.
 
you should contact modulemasters.com, they rebuild these kinds of things & warranty them. I don't know if they rebuild this specific part but with enough interest I'm sure they'd welcome the business.
 
I have a 96 VCRM.... plucked it out of a wrecked 96 LSC..... Gonna make a thread in the for sale section....
